hillbilly cruiser Posted July 16, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2013 Can you open the dividers on the Cove balcony. I am looking at two adjoining cabins and was wondering if we could have one big balcony.
kriscruise Posted July 16, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2013 We were just on the Breeze in adjoining cove balcony rooms and you could not open the dividers. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
GeoHack Posted July 16, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 16, 2013 I thought that I read on another post that if you had adjoining room cabins that the room steward could open the divider on cove cabins. Even had pictures of the divider open? Maybe I'm just experiencing information overload. Just checked this thread and it instructions on connecting dividers: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1844638
Sargent_Schultz Posted July 16, 2013 #4 Share Posted July 16, 2013 Partitions between non-connecting Cove Balcony cabins should open For connect Cove cabins, the common balcony "partitions" are the storm doors. If you were to "open" those, you would seal the balcony doors.
saltybones Posted July 16, 2013 #5 Share Posted July 16, 2013 Sailed three times on the Dream, some balconies dividers open, some do not. We had 2288 & 2290, and they did! Wonderful! Sent from my VS950 4G using Tapatalk

The other divider is the one that closes off your balcony door.

(until we figured out that if you stuck your fingers inside this hole, you could undo the latch and it opened) But it did block off one of our doors.
