Roll call saga ruby August 9th 2013 Norway

My mother ( a huge Ruby fan) and I (only just qualify in my own right for Saga!) are on this cruise. Is there plenty for both generations? Any one else on board?

Hi, Nice to hear from someone else who is travelling to Norway!

You will love it I am sure. This is the first time for me on this cruise line, but I have cruised a few times before, and my mother is an old hand!She is off on Monday on the Pearl.

Anything you want to know just ask.

Cruisers are generally very sociable, so although you may be on your own, you will soon meet plenty of others.

well its is indeed nice to know of someone else who will be on board,

I guess as a youngster you ;like me cannot get unlimited cruising time off as the boss objects.!!! lucky mum 11111

I opted for the chauffeur pick up service and [paid for yhe extra miles but now not so sure that was a good decision as it seems very tying, i may opt out of the return especially if the outward journey was long and tortuous

anyway have you ever used that service?

I just hope its a nice steady 7 days good food gopod entertainment flowing wine etc etc

I am also on this cruise, we used the shared car service in May and it was 1st class picked one couple up, about 10 mile away and then had a very leisurely drive down, also came back with the same couple, very good service.

Trying to decide weather to pack a light waterproof or something more substantial. Has anyone experience of the weather in say Bergen mid August?
