Cost of Airport Transfer in Tenerife

Does anyone know the cost of transfers from the airport in Tenerife to the port in Santa Cruz, either by taxi, or if a coach transfer is bookable?

We have booked a cruise for next November and are considering booking our own flights and staying in a hotel for about a week pre cruise and probably some time post cruise, so timings are not important.

Even rough idea would be very useful to us.

I suggest you ask on the Tenerife forum on Tripadvisor. You also need to state weather you mean from Reina Sofia airport or Los Rodeos to Santa Cruz as there is a considerable difference in distance.

Sounds like taxi transfers over there are about 1.5 times the cost of airport taxi transfers in England, so will see if we can get car hire with different pick up and drop off points as that will give us a car to use while there as well, or perhaps just go for the cruise and take the cruise flights.

They are a reliable Canarian company that has been around for years. They have offices at the airports and at the cruise terminal. They provide new cars at reasonable prices.

We hired a car from cicar in La Gomera last month and it worked fine, but I have had quite a lot of replies on TA regarding taxi transferrs, and it looks like it would cost about 80 Euros.

Compared to our £45 taxi transfer back home from Manchester last Tuesday that sounds expensive to me. We are about 45 mins drive from Manchester, although the distance must be more than in Tenerife as the Mancester transfer is largely motorway. So I would say a taxi airport transfer in Tenerife costs about one and a half times the British price, but they may rack up the price for airports of course.

It would depend completely which of the two Tenerife Airports you fly into.

TFN (Tenerife Norte / Los Rodeos) is fairly close to Santa Cruz, about 10km.

TFS (Tenerife South / Reina Sofia) is lot further, more than 60km
