Brindisi?

One of the ports of our upcoming cruise with the Magnifica is Brindisi. I haven't been able to find a whole lot about this port yet.

Has anyone been and can recommend some things to do there? It's only a half day stop.

I didn't find much of interest in Brindisi itself, I think I would head to either Lecce or Ostuni.

On second thought, I'd focus on Lecce with only a half day because the train station is right in town, vs. Ostuni where the station is down in the valley and you'd lose time getting up to the town and back down for the return.

If you're going to rent a car and drive either will work, each is only about a half hour away by road.
