Suggestions for South Beach, staying near POM

Hey guys. We are driving over the morning before our cruise and we are booked at the JW Marriott Marquis. I haven't been to South Beach in YEARS! Is it a pain to find parking? Should we take a water taxi? Any suggestions would be great as well as any must do's! We always do bayside so looking for something different. Thanks!! [emoji41]

I would just take Uber over there and back. Very easy.

Have them drive drop you off by the Art Deco Hotels and then make your way up the street with the hotels on the left and the beach on the right.

Why not just stay in South Beach if you want to hang out there?

Parking is easy but park in one of the city garages and not on the street. Tremont Towing is NOTORIOUS for towing tourists cars when they are legally parked then charging them insane amounts of money to get your car back. The one at the convention center is convenient but there are garages all over the beach.
