Life's Wonderful Magic

I have often read and looked at others detailed, day by day events of their cruise. Being somewhat of a cruise junky, I wanted to try it and see how it evolves.

This details our trip aboard the Carnival Magic. Most may say that Carnival is the budget cruise line. Like any other cruise, there are the positive and negative sides of cruising. I believe that Cruising is what you make it. I am not a whiner, but I do expect to get my money worth!!!!

I think Carnival did a great job with the onboard amenities, food, and entertainment. I never found myself once stating that i was bored!!! Here is a look at my experience aboard Carnival Magic.

Boarding day!!!!

Getting was fairly quick. we were able to board by 12:15pm. Instead of heading to the busy Buffett, we snagged free pasta at the Italian restaurant and a great seat by the window!!!.

The became our favorite spot...until the taps ran dry :mad:

Can not forget the life jacket meeting. I was so happy to know that we did not have to wear them and stand outside!!!

We ate in the main dining room which was good. However, just found out that if you eat at the Steak house on the first night, they will give you a free bottle of wine!!!!

Looking forward to more, thanks....getting primed for my Sept sailing on her! :D

I love the turn down service with the towel animals. We love to tip so we gave out steward Keith a hefty tip to make sure he kept the great service coming!!!

We were lucky enough to spot some lounge chairs where we stayed all day!!!! Soaking it up by the pool!!!

DH just too relaxed!!!

We ate at the indian place which was awesome. Made a couple of trips to the buffett for ice cream!!!!

We decided to try the Italian place for dinner, which was great. the portions was very filing!!!

Met up with one of my co workers on bord. I did not know she was on the same cruise!!!

We decided to dine in the dining room----again

and then retreat to the comedy theater. My only complaint is that it is not big enough to hold everyone. People were staying for both acts which created a lot of congestion. You have to get there super early. We learn to get there about an hour early just to get in!!!

Since we have been to Dr. Cove beach, we decided to go on the unbeaten path to Appleton Rum estate!!!!

This was the port that we wanted to get back to but it has became a place of nikel and dime. We wanted to go to another beach besides the Seven Mile and they wanted to charge us 100 to go 10 miles. I will not be so eager to come back.
