wannabeavip Posted June 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2013 I have booked back to back cruises in December - getting off Norwegian Epic and getting on Carnival Victory. I plan on taking a taxi between ships. My question is how long can I delay getting off the Epic? Since I will need my clothes for the next cruise, I plan to pack light, do laundry on the Epic if possible, and wheel off my one big bag and carry on. Also, if I am too early for getting on the Victory - which I will probably be - is there someplace I can wait besides out in the hot sun? This seemed like a good plan when I booked, but now I am wondering if it will be too much of a problem. Any advice or comments would be appreciated. msolberg Posted June 27, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2013 We just did similar last month. We cruised the Victory, stayed on board as long as we could and headed to the NCL Sky, which was within walking distance and docked right in front of the Victory. No taxi was necessary. We got to NCL just in time to be some of the first in line and were in group one to board. Have a great cruise! Diane
Rare Keith1010 Posted June 27, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 27, 2013 If the two ships are docked near each other you wouldn't need or want a taxi. You likely can say on till around 9:30 AM and then you could check your bags for the next cruise. You would be early so have something to read.
