Wi-fi

Recommended Posts

I know 2 years ago when I was in St Maarten I used WiFi on the beach at the boardwalk. Towards the east of the boardwalk close to Blue B**** Oyster Bar cause that's where one of the locals got us food. I believe we got a drink at a tiki hut like bar and they gave us their password and we walked across the boardwalk to the beach got some chairs and I was still connected. Sorry I can't remember the exact bar.

When I was in St. Maarten in May 2013, there was a candy store run by a middle-aged ex-Torontonian. He gave you the password for wifi access if you made a purchase. There were about 8 chairs outside for people to use to check e-mail.

You will see it if you do a Google search.

We ate lunch at Chesterfields at Dock Martin a few days ago and the bar outside of the parking lot on the main street where everyone walks to town had a sign up advertising free wifi. There were people standing under the shade with their phones using the wifi but I did not see any chairs. It's a 5 minute walk from the port so it is definitely close.:)
