Tommy's on the beach, warning to Americans

We were offered a nice table on the beach with $1 beers. This was last Tuesday and our waiter's name was Fidel, his boss was Guillermo. We had great view of the ocean and the Mardi Gras parade and really enjoyed everything until the bill came and those $1 beers turned into $4. The menu said 30 pesos which is around $2 each but since we paid in US dollars they doubled the price.

The food was great, albeit pricey and we enjoyed it but they shouldn't have misrepresented their prices to us. Even in Cozumel the same beers (Bohemia and Sol) are $1.

Just a heads up. They apparently run most of the tables on the beach there. At least the nicer ones with the thatched umbrellas. We helped pay for a few of those this week.
