Best off the beach snorkeling - own gear.

What would be the best beach for snorkeling right from the beach. No need to rent gear as have personal gear.

We liked Friars Beach (Shipwreck Beach) enough to return there next April. The reef is right along the beach toward the right. Lots to see, but watch out for a LOT of black urchins. Wear flippers or water shoes. The monkeys were also fun to see. cab ride did not cost very much and was very scenic.
