  1. Looks like we may go to the Tenement Museum just before heading to the airport. Looks like the J line is nice and close to that which looks like it would take us straight to the Air Train Station Jamaica Station? Is this a good option? How do you know which direction the J train would be going?
  2. Very mass transit ignorant as it's not an option where I live. Can you give me a detailed steps on how to do this. Also if we do decide to use a cab how much time would I need to give myself to get to JFK on Thursday Dec 4/24 leaving Chinatown at 1pm? How much time would the mass transit option you recommend take?
  3. So they are flat rate both directions then? Is it the same rate both directions?
  4. Looking for suggestions on how to get from China Town area in lower Manhattan to JFK. Looking for convenience but also don't want to send a ton of money. What are my best options and what should I expect for cost? I heard taxies are flat rate from JFK but guessing they aren't going to JFK?
  5. Was recently on the Wonder of the Seas. Almost every window on the ship was dirty. We had a inside room with a view over central park and our window was very dirty. The windows in the windjammer overlooking the middle portion of the ship were dirty. Our window at dinner overlooking the ocean was dirty. I understand the outside ones being dirty a bit more from the ocean spray but really wish they washed the windows on really all cruise ships more often.
  6. How does skydiving work on the Ovation? Do you book a specific time slot? do you pay? are you limited on how many times you can do it?
  7. I'm guessing that they probably block pickup by Uber other then at the terminal for a certain time frame when a ship is docked?
  8. Unable to order an uber to Grills had to be ordered to Terminal 1. Only seen one taxi company it was $25 for anywhere local
  9. Our Uber on a Sunday morning from hotel near MCO to terminal 1 at Port Canaveral was $65 🙂
  10. There was a long line for the Avis shuttle at Terminal 1 this Sunday post cruise
  11. Avis had a long line for their shuttle this last Sunday much longer then the other rental company's from Terminal 1
  12. Just off the Wonder this last Suday. We were in no hurry to get off the ship as we were just going to a local go cart minigolf place that didn't open till 10am so tried to stay on the ship as long as possible but we were eventually kicked off the ship at 9am. I had read that you could head over to Grills restaurant area just a couple min walk to the west of the ship and catch an uber from there, however when we tried to order an uber from there it showed a large blue area on the map that would only allow pickup from the terminal 1 parking structure. There was only one taxi company that we could find that was offering taxi rides it was called airport (something or other) they charge $25 to anywhere in the local area.
  13. Just off the Wonder of the Seas. It was a beautiful ship. A couple things that I noticed was: The ship really needs a lounge area that could accommodate a few hundred people. Plenty of times we would go to the Karaoke lounge or the Attic for game shows and they were packed with standing room only 15 minutes before the activity. I also found the ship to be on the hot side definitely needed the AC turned up. They also needed more entertainment options. One night the only main show entertainment that was offered in the main theater was Karate Kid movie 😞 We had already seen the skating show or aqua show that was also offered that night. The captain was hilarious
  14. Can you cast or connect via cable to the stateroom tv's on the Wonder?
  15. Does the waterpark open as soon as they allow people off the ship? What is a good place to meetup with someone for lunch around 11am on Cococay where you can actually find each other? Is there a clock in the waterpark?
  16. Which items are prepared table side at 150 Central Park?
  17. Can you do this just from shore or do you have to take a tour?
  18. Booked the 3 specialty restaurant dining package. We plan on doing 3 suppers and one lunch. How do we pay for the lunch and not have it count towards one of the 3 from the package? Can't prebook the lunch as Hibachi as it isn't showing up as an option to book for lunch.
  19. I am looking trough the entertainment options for my cruise in 2 weeks by comparing it to this upcoming weeks cruise with the same itinerary. My main show entertainment is as follows: Day 1 inTense Reserved Day 2 365 Seasons on Ice Reserved and maybe Voices (not showing in planner but have a reservation) Day 3 NOTHING (inTENse offered but already reserved for day 1) Day 4 NOTHING (The Karate Kid movie playing in Royal Theater but don't consider a very old movie as main theater entertainment) (inTense and 365 offered but already reserved for other days) Day 5 Headliner Jennifer Singer vocalist Day 6 The effectors Reserved (not showing on Planner) (365 offered but already reserved day 2) Day 7 NOTHING I have never been on a cruise when there wasn't a show option every evening in the main theater. That is always our night dinner and the show. Am I missing something here is there really this huge of a lack of shows in the Royal Theater?
  20. Cool thanks didn't know you could do that:) I am shocked how few things are happening in the Royal Theater. I would have thought they would have a show every night:(
  21. We have a 10:30am check-in time what time should we expect to be on the ship? What time do the activities like flow ridder and slides open on embarkation day?
  22. What is the cost to use the Flow Ridder in the port?
  23. When you are in Costa Maya can you see how much they are charging to use the Flowridder in port and if it's busy or not. Also can you see if they offer any flyboarding or jet ski rentals from the port area.
  24. What is the usual fare?
