Panama canal - Train or Ferry tour???

I have read the reviews an both the ferry tour of the locks and the train tour. The ferry is about 50/50, good to bad. Some say too hot and too long, Other say best experience ever. Trins comments are air conditioned, nice views and poor food.

Need reviews from recent Panama canal cruisers.

December 2014 there wasn't a train tour of the canal. They had stopped running years ago is what we were told.
