NoVa Mimi Posted May 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2004 I just booked our 7/10/2005 cruise. I booked cabin 1324, on the hump. Does anyone have any experience in this location? I am somewhat concerned with the stairs being very close to this cabin. Thank you for any thoughts you all might have on this cabin choice! Gosh, we haven't even gone on the AOS yet this year, and I already booked next year for the same ship. My thoughts were on the news they said that anything having to do with fuel will be going up in the very near future, and thought I better book now before prices possibly go up. The agent told me this sailing was filling up quickly, so of course that "sold me" on booking now. gene624 Posted May 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Nova, where did you get info about a July 2005 cruise? I have been unable to get any info, and my TA has not come up with anything. Any info is appreciated. Gene in Birmingham
gene624 Posted May 6, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2004 I have never had a problem with stair or elevator noise except once when a group of semi-drunk teens started us a lot of racket in the passage way. I stuck my head out the door of my suite at 2:30 AM and asked thej to knock it off. They did, since I speak with the voice of authority. NoVa Mimi Posted May 6, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted May 6, 2004 Gene, I found a number of sites that have July 2005 cruises listed. Check out Royal Caribbean's website to get started. They don't have all of them out yet, however there are a good number. Have fun picking your next cruise! That's one of the parts of the whole cruise that I really enjoy. NoVa Mimi Posted May 6, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted May 6, 2004 Valerie, I'd love to post on the Roll Call! Could you bump it up to the first page, as I can't find it using the search feature. I am really getting excited...only 73 more days! NoVa Mimi Posted May 6, 2004 Author #7 Share Posted May 6, 2004 Gene, my husband also has a voice of authority , as far as those things. I just hope that it will be fairly quiet by the stairway.
