Pullmantur,Sovereing II

I see in the port of Madeira and Gibraltar that a ship whit the name Sovereign II is booked,do anyone know who this could be or are they get a new ship in end of 2013?

Perhaps RCCL plans to transfer another Sovereign class ship.either Monarch or Majesty, from RCI to Pullmantur in 2013. Would not surprise me.

In RCI's latest 10-Q SEC filing they indicated that they are doing a newbuild for Pulmantur. Not sure who's building it, or when it is scheduled to launch, but that might be what you're seeing.

I did not see anything about a new build for Pullmantur. I read about two ships under construction, Celebrity Reflection and the unnamed Project Sunshine ship. They said TUI had contracted to get a new build. Do you know which 10-Q mentioned it? Just a new build junkie here. Thanks.

I remember reading that booking aren't too good, they are departing with two more ships, the Horizon(Pacific Dream) and Ocean Dream. If bookings improve they probably will send the Monarch or Majesty over

Her cruises were cancelled due to the earthquake that accured in Japan, shes not leaving the fleet..yet

Yes, now it´s official that Monarch is leaving Royal Caribbean and joining Pullmantur.
