Cruise Cash question?

I have been gifted some cruise cash for my upcoming Breeze cruise. Is it automatically applied to your account, or do you have to take the card you get in your cabin down to passengers service desk to activate the obc?

If i have cruise cash applied for obc and in the event had to cancel my cruise it's gone??

from what I've read on the forums, you can cash out at the casino at any time.

I asked that very same question and I was told by Carnival Rep Cruise Cash is not refundable.

I use it all the time. I add to it every week leading to my cruise. On the last night i check and see what i have and go to the casino. Go to a slot machine put it in you can play some or cash it out.
