roothy123 Posted March 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2014 Has anyone been in Lisbon recently? Is there a light show that is projected onto the Arch of Augustus at night? If so, does anyone know the time, or whether it is done every night? If not, is there a good web site or tourist information office that might be able to answer my questions? Help is appreciated! Steeler Nation At Sea Posted April 13, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2014 Found on youtube. The ‘Arco de Luz’ was a multimedia celebration held in Lisbon’s reinvigorated Praça do Comércio between August 8th and 18th 2013. The event, organized by city council and in conjunction with local media company OCUBO celebrated the opening of a new terrace on top of Lisbon’s Rua Augusta Arch that lines the square. The ‘Arco De Luz’ spectacle projected famous images from the country’s history on the famous arch that faces Lisbon’s Tagus river on one side, and the Pombaline downtown on the other.
