We are taking a cruise out of Pt. Canaveral and staying in Orlando the night before. Looking for a hotel that is cheap and close to the airport or that has a shuttle. We has found a few online but we want to be close to restaurants so we can do something when we get in. Any suggestions?

Define cheap please, and when do you need the hotel?

There is a Hyatt IN the airport and they have a couple nice restaurants, plus there is a food court, a few other restaurants and shops in the terminal, on the land side...so outside of security..

Most will have shuttles from the airport....do you already have transportation to the pier?

There's pretty much every flavor of hotel close to MCO...Fairfield Inn, Marriott, Courtyard, Renaissance, Country Inn, Wingate....pick one...there are tons

Use google earth and you can check out the area around them.....

About a mile north of OIA on both sides of Semorin Blvd (rte 436) there are 16 hotels and 7 restaurents. We used the Marriott to park our car, they provided a shuttle to.and from the airport. All the others should also have shuttles.

Some of the hotels there are the Marriott, Courtyard, Hampton Inn, La Quinta, and Holiday Inn. Restaurents are Chilis, TGI Fridays, Bonefish Grill, and Longhorn Steakhouse.

If you Google map TG Lee Blvd, Orlando you will see the hotels and Restaurents.
