Uber/Lyft now legal from SeaTac

I did a search, and it looks like Uber and Lyft can now legally pick up at SeaTac (as of March of this year). Looks like the challenge is finding the pick up spot in the parking garage.

Has anyone tried this?

We will be looking for transportation for 3 (plus luggage) from SeaTac to the Hampton Inn, Seattle Downtown this July. Probably will not be able to manage the light rail with all of our cruise luggage.

Looks like they pick up next to the taxi line inside the parking garage structure.

So, you would collect your luggage at Baggage Claim on Floor 3, take the elevator/escalator to floor 4, walk across the skybridge over the Arrival Drive, then back down to floor 3 again.

Thanks much! That's very helpful. Glad that I'll be able to use Lyft. I'm guessing that it will be less expensive than a cab.

Sorry, i don't know what uber charges. It's about a 30 minute drive.

Yellow Cab is the company at the airport taxi line and they charge about $45 to downtown.

The flat rate cab company charges $29 to downtown. That's for a prius, $7-$8 more for a minivan. http://www.flatrateforhire.com
