Help! We love the way Crooners bar on Regal Princess has an upscale outdoor lounge with teak furniture...but I've asked 2 Princess cruise consultants and they can't confirm if it's the same situation on the Royal Princess. They were launched the same 2013 year so anyone know?

If you come over to the Princess board:

....you will find that your "upscale outdoor lounge with teak furniture" is regarded by most Princess regulars as one very sorry excuse for a Promenade Deck. That just happens to be limited to the small area outside Crooners (plus the corresponding area on the starboard side of Deck 7).

So to answer your question, yes the identical outdoor areas are on Royal (launched June 2013) and Regal Princess (launched May 2014).
