Has anyone done this trip to Rome?

It is a coach tour only recommended for people who cannot walk too far.

Would appreciate the opinion of anyone who has done the excursion - did it give you a good feel of the city?

Did this last year, the only time you get off the bus is for a toilet stop on the way there, you do not set foot in Rome, there were good views of all the main sights,went again this year and did the Vatican and Sistine chapel, but were disappointed queuing to get in although the trip included fasttrack tickets. hope this helps.

Yes we have done this one -twice!

I didn't fancy crossing the roads in Rome- you take your life in your hands!

We thoroughly enjoyed it- we got a running commentary throughout and saw lots of memorable sights from the comfort of an air-conditioned coach on a very hot day- ideal!

Yes my husband and myself did this trip, thought it was really good, did not expect to see all that we did see and lots of it quite close up. Commentary was really good. We really enjoyed it and we thought, eventhough we were in a coach and not out and about, we were still able to capture a lot of the atmosphere of the city. If you decide to go on it hope you have a lovely time.

Although it would have been nice to wander around Rome I really think this trip is best for Hubby so we are just about to book it.
