Hollywood/ Dania Seafood restaurants

We are staying at the La Quinta Inn Hollywood in February and we are looking for a place for supper that has good shrimp. We will be without a car so we want to make sure our taxi fare is worth it. We are not looking for fine dining preferably a casual place. Does anybody have any recommendations? A place near the water would be nice but not a must.

Islamorada at Bass Pro Shop. We've been there several times.

The Rustic Inn is old Florida seafood and is excellent! There probably isn't better seafood in Fort Lauderdale.

The Quarter Deck is actually ON Dania Beach and is pretty good but the views are outstanding.

We walked there once from the Fairfield Inn. Excellent meal! Noisy place though - lots of banging with the hammers.:)

Rustic Inn may have a Ft. Lauderdale address, but it's right on the edge of Dania Beach.

The Rustic Inn is closer to Dania Beach than Fort Lauderdale. The seafood is far superior to Quarter Deck.

Good to know we will probably check it out then!
