Going to Orient Beach - place nearby to feed iguanas?

We are planning a trip to Orient Beach in December. Had a wonderful tour years ago where we were able to feed iguanas.

Is there a place near Orient Beach that we could feed the iguanas without going on a tour?

Kayak over to Pinel island. I think you need to know where to go though. Hopefully some one at the kayak rental can direct you. But be advised that sometimes they can attack you. Lettuce is better than bread.
