Guest Facilities at Four Mile Beach?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there are facilities (changing rooms, restaurants, snack bars, or rental umbrellas and chairs) and Four Mile Beach, down the road from Port Douglas?

We are planning to walk there, so I am really interested in facilities closest to town, if any.

There's a hire place right on the beach with umbrellas, lounges etc. where the stinger nets go.

There are several eating venues across the road, Hi Tide in the Peninsula, the cafe on the corner and the surf club. I can't be sure about change rooms but usually the surf clubs have them at the rear. There are freshwater showers (outdoor) just behind the beach.

From the Marina this is about a 10 minute walk.

I'm fairly sure the toilet block next to the surf club has changing facilities. They are both at the intersection of Mowbray St and The Esplanade.

Where are you walking from?
