My Visit January 12 Steel Drums

In St. Maarten January 12 and took a tour of the island which was fine and on the return to the ship before you go thru the gates there was a steel drum group playing right there, Pan Obsession. Since I love this music I stopped and ended up staying until it was time for me to get back on the ship. There was a place to get cold beer a short distance away so I spent a few very enjoyable hours listening and they even let me try the drums out. I bought a cd for $10 and they are support the Ebony Steel Foundation which promotes steel pan music on St. Maarten. If you enjoy this music you might want to look for them if you stop in St. Maarten.
