Barbuda beach bars

We will be on the Windsurf using a tender to get to shore. We always try to find the local beach bars at each port....and we're only on Barbuda for a short period of time. Is there a beach bar near the dock? Are there cabs available on Barbuda?

We were there on the Wind Surf this past January. We did the Frigate Bird Sanctuary which was amazing! We highly recommend it! Afterwards we got dropped off at the pink beach and walked along the pink sand shore. It was remarkable! Be sure to have an empty water bottle to fill up with the sand :)

There really isn't much to Barbuda. There use to be a beach bar but it looked like it had closed up ages ago. Some of the folks on our yacht just hung out on the beach for the short time we were there. By taking the tour we had the opportunity to talk to the locals who drove our van and the man who ran our boat at the sanctuary. Very nice folks and the history of the island is fascinating. Don't miss the Frigate Bird Sanctuary and the pink sand beach!
