Orlando to MIA--Rental Car?

I'm thinking about spending a couple of days in Orlando before leaving on a cruise out of MIA. Any good options for dropping off a rental car at the port? Making it more difficult is that we will be doing so July 4. Thanks.

There are no rental car drops at the POM, but some downtown locations are not too far; check out Enterprise and others. Otherwise you will need to drop the car at MIA and then either shuttle or cab to POM. Traffic will be bad - plan ahead. Good luck!:)

I'm renting from Orlando to Miami through Avis. I believe the location to drop it off is on 2nd street. It's not far from the port. But, I'm not sure what their hours are on the 4th of July.
