A little disappointed, since we are finally able to book for 2016 but now St Maarten is no longer a port. Now hopefully they bring it back for the fall cruises on Fantasy. DH wants to go back to St Maarten, and now may have to look into other lines. Don't really want to though. We weren't fond of our Royal Cruise and Princess doesn't seem to be the fid friendly cruise and we loved our Princess cruises before kids. I am gonna have to research Tortola and try to convince DH but that is gonna be hard.

What was the draw for your husband to St Maarten?

Great port but I guess he want to go to Maho beach?!?

Yes Maho Beach is the draw, he's a pilot and has flown into there. He is not a beach guy and usually only wants to do the beach for the private island. But Maho Beach is the exception and he said if we do a cruise it has to be Eastern so he can go back to St Maarten. I glanced at Tortola and it doesn't seem to have much to do for a family with young kids. Maybe I'll convince him to do a Western instead. Well just have to wait till next year and see when its time to book. I was just finally excited to be able to book again. We had to keep putting it off due to DS. He's special needs and not potty trained yet.

I'm ashamed to admit I never ventured to Maho beach when in St Maarten.

One of those I will do it next time places and never got around to it.

The videos do look amazing though!

I need to cancel the our Nov 2015 cruise on Magic and I want to book for summer 2016.

Thanks!

I know a few here do not like rumours but others do, I will give you a couple here, not just one rumour, anyway that's the message Dover and out.

  • 2 weeks later...

Well, many of us saw DisneyFantasy's picture and large post which has since been deleted.

My travel agent says it will be March. And it seems that DCL will be releasing some new policies regarding penalty dates, etc. for US based cruises just prior to releasing the remainder of the 2016 dates.
