flight bought from Costa (cruise+flight package)

Hi!

I have a question if somebody have any experiences with cruise+flight packages offered by Costa.

Are prices of flight competitve to booking on your own ?

Are they using traditional carriers (f.e. Lufthansa, British Airways etc.) or organize charter flights ?

Does anybody know from which cities in Germany they are offering flights ?

If I am buying package, I understand that also transfer airport->ship and ship->aiport is included ?

I have always found prices to be cheaper when I book them myself, also it gives me greater flexibility as I like to do pre and post stayovers.

Costa uses main airlines including charter companies (but not chartering the whole plane) i.e. Condor. Coster does charter aircraft mostly to the caribbean (Martinique and Gualoupe). For European flights to Nice, Genoa, Milan, Venice Costa flies from the Germany's main and provisional airports where there is a service to the destination. For intercontinental flights the most flights go from Frankfurt, Munich, Dusselforf and Berlin.

Transfers to and from the ship are included in the price.

I am considering cruise in Carrabean at the moment and choose one from less popular (for organizing flight on your own) ports: Martinique, Gualoupe, Tobago, Santo Domingo etc.

For cruises from Europe and from popular international ports I organized so far flights on my own but there thought that maybe Costa could propose something cheaper...
