LoveGlasto Posted October 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2016 We are not interested in a combined tour/beach trip during our cruise visit to Roatan at the end of October, but wondering whether the option of taking a taxi from/to the port to have a beach day at West Bay is a reliable and cheap option. What will the cost be for two adults and a teenager for a return taxi trip and how easy is it to pick up the return taxi? Thanks

If haggle is one of your skills you may be able to get the price down but most likely you will be paying between $15pp/$25pp round trip. Taxi do not hang about in West Bay waiting for fares and if you happen to find one you can bet they will expect top dollar due to your limited time and need. If haggle is not one of your skills or you just do not wish to invest the time, most people book a driver for a round trip for close to the same price. #1TravelMom Posted October 9, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 9, 2016 I would prearrange with Ronystours.com. Most drivers will agree to get paid when they return to get you. But, there is no guarantee that they won't find a more lucrative fare and just not come back for you. Rony is very reliable.

There are probably going to be scattered thunder showers every single day. But there will be sun too, most likely. Don't fret, you are on vacation.
