We have a stop here at the end of October on RCCL. I am finding it difficult to find information about activities available at this port. Anyone have any ideas other than walk around the town/take the tourist train?

We don't like taking the ship sponsored excursions if we can plan our own, but I am stumped with this port! :)

It is a tough DIY area. The city does have a decent beach so if that is of interest you can simply walk to the beach and enjoy your day (there are cafes across the street). Otherwise, it is a place to consider ship excursions unless you are content to rent a car and explore on your own. This is one of the very few places in Europe where we actually booked a ship tour (we might do this in 1 out of 100 ports) that took us to the "Calanches."

Thanks Hank!

This was what I was afraid of. Our ship only lists 2 excursion in this port and neither one look that wonderful. Guess we will just have to walk around. Can't believe it will be great beach weather as we will be there Nov 1st.
