First time cruising with MSC have paid for the bar and restaurant unlimited drink package. Some of it is quite simple to understand, but how will I know which cocktails are included, are virgin cocktails included, is Baileys included. What about coffee is it only hot cofffees. All items on the menus without an asterisk are included in your package. Items with one asterisk are included in the deluxe (premium) package and items with two asterisks aren't included in any package. The following is a bar menu from Meraviglia which will give you an idea of what drinks are included. From post #70 on the thread:

The range differs from bar to bar on the ships as some bars are smaller or specialised. Coffee is included, too, though not the specialist coffees. Baileys, too and a range of virgin cocktails. Gelato by the cup or cone is included as well. Here's the info from MSC:

Drink all you want, where you want, in total freedom and with a light heart! Unlimited consumption of spirits, liqueurs, aperitifs and cocktails from the bar list, dedicated selection of wines by the glass, draught beer, sodas, fruit juices, mineral water, espresso, cappuccino and other classic hot drinks, and takeaway ice cream in a cone or cup. The drinks included in package can be consumed in all bars, self-service buffet and restaurants including the specialty restaurants. The following items are not included in this offer: tobacco, champagne, bottles of wine and sparkling wine, premium spirit brands, drinks from the minibar and water provided in your cabin, souvenir glasses and food served in specialty bars and restaurants. Other excluded items are detailed in the onboard Bar List, indicated with an asterisk.

And, yes, there is a great range of drinks included. The choice of wines by the glass, however, is limited to 2 reds, 2 whites and 1 rosé and not very good. Having said that, the drinks package is the best value you'll find anywhere - on land or at sea!

I'm not the biggest wine drinker, but I do like to drink good coffee, water and cocktails, plus a little something with my coffee after dinner. So this will do fine, plus icecream what more could I want.

This will my cruise with MSC and finds something a little different. However, the ship looks beautiful and the itinerary is all places on my bucket list

You will be well covered drink-wise, so. You don't say which ship you'll be on but MSC ships are beautiful and incredibly clean and well-kept. Food is not to everyone's taste but you won't starve. The buffet is generally very good with a wide range of choices. There are also some very good entertainment venues in the evenings, including shows in the theatre.
