St Kitts Half Day Beach

Our ship is in port from 8am-5pm and we've booked the railway tour from 8.30am-11.30am. Can anybody recommend a beach close to the port where we could spend the afternoon? Somewhere with loungers and umbrellas preferably! Last time we went to Carambola and had a great day but we had the full day and would prefer somewhere closer to the ship, just in case

Next cruise: Oasis of the Seas 12-night Westbound Transatlantic 15.10.2014

The closest beach would be Frigate Bay. The Marriott is on North Frigate Bay(Atlantic side). South Frigate Bay has Timothy Beach Resort and many beach bar/restaurants on "The Strip".

The Palm Court Gardens is not a beach but a small resort with a pool where you can spend a day or a few hours and it's in walking distance from the port in Basseterre. We stopped here for about 20 mins. when we did a tour with Thenford Grey. It's a beautiful place, great views of the sea, it's quiet, relaxing and a day pass costs $10 pp.
