Misty Fjords in May?

We just booked our group on Holland America for the middle of May. We also booked a Misty Fjords tour with SeaWind Aviation in Ketchikan (http://seawindaviation.com) after reading all the good reports on this board and reading about them on another website (http://www.alaskaportreviews.com/Ketchikan19.htm). We contacted them through their website and got an immediate reply.Their pilot, Steve, is a second generation Ketchikanite(?) and has been flying all his life. This was a big plus for some of our group, but we still have some concerns about the weather at that time year. Any thoughts on this?

May/June have the best weather of the year on average - great for cruising and flying.
