Philipsburg to Marigot by Bus

We have done this twice, but it was a couple of years ago. We'll be there in a couple of weeks and are planning on doing it again. It was very easy -- only $1 or so per person each way (maybe $2?)

We got on in Phillipsburg, and it brought us over to Marigot, where we got off by the LOLO's. We had lunch and walked around through the craft market, stopped for a pastry at Sarafina's, and then hopped the bus back to Phillipsburg! It's very easy!

I'm replying to bump this up though, because I don't remember exactly where we stood in Phillipsburg to catch the bus going the correct direction. Maybe a local can reply?

Thanks!

The bus runs down Backstreet, the next one over from Frontstreet, the main shopping street in downtown Philipsburg. A 20+ minute walk or a quick Water Taxi ride across Great Bay.

There is a stop almost directly behind the Courthouse.

The fare to Marigot or Maho/Mullet is $2.00. Marigot I would allow 45 minutes.

There is no set schedule, as they are independent drivers, and choose when/where to drive on their own. They have small signs in the corner of their front window that indicate their destination.
