dsrdsrdsr Posted January 7, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2014 It'll certainly be dark nights in October - there's no "maybe" about it. It'll get dark in June as well, but not for as long. About 12.5 hours darkness in early October, much less in June. It'll likely be warm in June. Check these ports on Wikipedia, there'll be a section for most of them that gives average monthly temperatures. Then compare them with Bridlington to see what it will feel like on average - but remember, you might not get average weather.
ldubs Posted January 8, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2014 We did a cruise to Portugal and Spain this past October. Heavy rain in Lisbon, but everywhere else the weather was good -- not too cool for excursions. Sunset is early, but for the excursions we were back on board while it is still daylight.
