Larios on the Beach

We are landing in Miami on May 28th, and our pre-cruise hotel will be the Marriott Miami Biscayne Bay @ 1633 N. Bayshore. I am interested in surprising my family with reservations @ Larios on the Beach (one of Emilio & Gloria Estefan's restaurants). Question is this: Larios is in South Beach (820 Ocean Drive). Will a taxi generally take you that far? Is it even considered "far" from our Marriott?

It's about a 20 minute ride w/o traffic. A taxi will take you there and perhaps even pick up at an assigned time. Money talks.
