Glory, glory.... a 7 day Eastern Caribbean Review

we sail Aug 16 and since it will be our 3rd time sailing western, we have no excursions planned. It's our annual adult only vacation and this time we are determined to relax and enjoy all the parts of ship we never get too because we are either off the ship or on the ship with everyone else. So glad you're doing this review. I have Alchemy bar on my list...do they have a tasting event/menu?

How early did you return to ship for lunch?

Arianna - do you and your party have any interest in splitting a victor Bowden tour in Roatan? I just noticed you are on the same cruise as my wife and I. We are using the tour to go to west bay beach. It is $25 /pp. we are looking for other to split the tour with to try and cut down our current $40/pp cost. Let me know! :)

Platinum Gift was a coffee mug with a black lid.

We got the chocolate delights delivered to our room.

The casino delivered a cookie plate with chocolate chip cookies, white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, and oatmeal raisin cookies

They also delivered a plate of chocolate covered strawberries.

Our room steward was Neen, she was great. Ice is no longer in cabins you have to ask for ice from your room steward.

If you have any questions I will be happy to answer them.

Thank you for taking the time to read this review and happy sailing!

Thanks for sharing your cruise with us....I'll be on the Glory in 83 days but who's counting...lol. I have been on a 2.0 ship already so it seems that its pretty similar. Awesome that your DH won the free cruise...how did he win it??

jackparts-Grand Turk the port is right at the beach no need to find a beach. They have a section where kids have inflatable water toys to climb on for a fee and a place you can purchase pony rides. The beach also has its own resident dogs (including Topher of Jack's Shack fame) that are very tame and kid friendly.

San Juan isn't known for its beaches, it is more of a downtown city port you can take free trolleys to the forts and kids get in free, 5.00 for adults and you can get into both forts for that

St. Thomas has a plethora of beaches but for kid friendly I'd recommend Coki or Magen's Bay, entrance into Magen's is 4.00 but kids get in free...Coki is next to Coral World, a cool place for children.

We went with our 8 year old daughter. She loved Grand Turk.

Rooster1961-It was fun, but very hot! I want to go on the Liberty, did you like it? It is on my bucket list. First Sunshine, then Breeze, then Liberty.

My favorite so far is the Valor.

yes, it was ok but there were a lot of the coffee machines and ice cream machines broken the entire cruise. Did you guys have a Guys Burger on there or a Fish and Chips? I was eating Guys Burgers when I saw you guys pull out around 3-330pm. How did you like the Glory?
