Holland to princess for a World cruise

what are the differences between Holland and Princess for a World cruise?

Any one???

The ships are about the same age (15/16 years old) but the Pacific Princess is about half the size of Amsterdam and carries about half the number of passengers.

Have you looked at itineraries of the two? Where they go each year might help you make up your mind.

I see that Princess has more sea days . How is the Princess life on board different?

Haven't done a world cruise, but did 28 days on Princess and have done HAL. The sea days on Princess are wonderful in my opinion. They offer lots of activities if you want to partake, and they offer quiet, lovely solitude as well. I just like the atmosphere on Princess much better, it's hard to explain but it seems more upbeat and fun than HAL. Just my opinion. Not sure how it would be on a smaller ship. Whichever you choose you will have a wonderful time as the service and food are excellent on both.

In addition to the Pacific Princess departing in January you also have the Sea Princess departing in May from Sydney.

At a shade under 80,000 tons and about 2,000 pax we find them a perfect size.

Haven't been with HAL, but we really enjoy sea days on Princess ships. You can relax or attend a different activity every 1/2 hr, or any option between those 2 extremes.
