If you are using P&O charter flights you are only at the airport departure lounge for around an hour. You leave the ship around 3 - 3.5 hours before your flight home it takes an hour to get to the airport up to 30 minutes to get through security then you are called for your flight 45 minutes before your flight.

If your flight is delayed you say on the ship.

thanks for the info the last 2 P & O cruises we have done we were sat waiting for 2 hours plus that's why we were thinking about exec lounge

Also remember if you do decide to go for executive lounge remember to book the executive lounge situated after you pass through passport control, because if you book the one before passport control you cannot go back through passport control to get back out to the other executive lounge. Our friends booked wrong lounge and ended up sitting in the airport with the rest of the people flying home on his flight and never did get the use of the executive lounge that he booked and pre paid for.
