Queen Emma Bridge

It appears to be an easy walk from the Megapier, where I understand that Carnival Freedom docks to and across the Queen Emma Bridge to the shopping and floating markets on the other side.

Can anyone confirm this?

Just realized we're there on a Sunday. Will much be open?

We were there on a Sunday and not much open. Some places were only open in the morning.

Sundays and holidays are best to be planned as sightseeing or beach days here.

Only a handful of stores downtown will be open during the ship dock hours.
