Portofino Restaurant

How can i make reservations on line i hear it is hard to get a reservation.

As far as I know you can't make reservations on line yet. I recommend that as soon as you board you go to Compass Rose or Portofino rest. were usually the Maitre D is taking reservation for the altermative restaurants.

Mountainsailor, Portofino is the alternate restaurant on the Navigator as well. Rando, I think Navigator is going through a change of theme for this restaurant. They are reviving the Don Vito's that used to be on the old Diamond, with a set menu (many courses) and singing waiters and a rip-roaring good time if you are in the mood, especially if traveling with friends. Not sure how they have settled in on scheduling. Also, there is an underlying mild vibration that I noticed there, usually in heavier seas. Just to test out whether it bothers you, you might want to wander through the room sometime WHEN the ship is underway to see if it bothers you. Some people may be sensitive.

We originally had reservations there for our second night, but canceled when we all got invitations to dine with various officers. We enjoyed Compass Rose so much that we never got around to going to Portofino.

Yes, there is a Portofino on Radisson's Navigator. If there is also a Portofino on RCI I have no idea.
