Pumbaamd Posted May 25, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2004 We were in Antigua 17 or so years ago and spent the afternoon at the horse racing track, Cassada Gardens. We had a very fun afternoon there. Is it still in business? We will be there on the Brillance 1/8/05. Could they be racing that day?

Pumbaamd Posted May 26, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted May 26, 2004 Den Field (springy2004) You seem to be the Antigua expert here. Thanks for contributing so much to this board. You have been a great help. As it gets closer to Jan. 2005, can you find out more about the race meeting dates? Thank you! MST Gen.Walker 9/66,Chandris Amerikanis 2/78,Plm. Bch. bremmerh Posted May 26, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 26, 2004 If you could give me information on the race track I would appreciate it. When/what days are they open and what time do they race. I think my husband would love to go to the track.
Pumbaamd Posted May 27, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted May 27, 2004 This is unlike any race track your husband has ever been to. It's like a mixture of a county fair, a tail gate party with rum punch drinking. Not very professional. No tote board, just a chalk board. But it was fun!
