Chacchoben Ruins with Native Choice

We have the tour booked in a couple of weeks. While talking to the Native Choice staff they said that there were vendors that sat up near the ruins. Has anyone bought items from the vendors at the ruins and what type of things did they sell? How were their prices?

Admittedly its been since 2014 since i was in Costa Maya but i do recall the vendors. There were some small vendors with the typical Mayan type stuff for sale. Prices are always somewhat negotiable in Mexico.

I usually buy a plaque or other item from the vendors hoping that it was made by them but since i see a lot of the same ones at all the Ruins sites i have my doubts.

I bought a nice Mayan Calendar plaque for about 25.00, its almost the size of a dinner plate if that helps.
