Rare Fletcher Posted October 17, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2014 We in the UK don't have a Thanksgiving holiday but I'm on a Seabourn ship which includes the Thanksgiving Day. What happens?
Winner Posted October 17, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 17, 2014 and all the fixin's (mashed potatoes. sweet potatoes, bread stuffing, cranberry relish, green beans and/or broccoli and pumpkin dessert, classically a pie). For those that prefer not to indulge in the feast there will be plenty of alternatives.
Corony Posted October 18, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2014 (edited) As we are from Canada where Thanksgiving is the beginning of October, we requested an Indian dinner that night for a group of 8 which was happily accommodated and delicious! We will also be on for the American Thanksgiving this year and we will choose another national menu we would like to explore in lieu of the traditional Thanksgiving fare. stamfordian Posted October 18, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 18, 2014 You could always pre-order (24 hours in advance) roast beef with Yorkshire pudding followed by treacle tart to make a point!
Rare Fletcher Posted October 18, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted October 18, 2014 Thanks for all that - I thought it might be a turkey thing, without all that Christmas stuff which is a blessing.
