Rent a cab for a day for 6+?

My son and sister will be disembarking our cruise early in Barbados. Their flight is not until 4:30 so thinking of hiring a cab to tour us around until we need to head to the airport to drop them off then head back to the ship. Is there taxi's that we could hire at the port to handle 6 people plus two suitcases? Any ideas on the cost?

Taxis can be found just outside the cruise terminal, but it might be easier for your group and tour preferences to book ahead of time.
