How to Unsubscribe to threads I post in

Not really a cruise question but I couldn't find another place to ask this. How do I unsubscribe to threads I post in? I'm getting emails every time someone posts to a thread I participated in. I don't want this to happen. I want to be able to post and view threads without getting emails from Cruise Critic. I tried the unsubscribe button in my emails but it hasn't worked. Perhaps it takes a few days?

You have to go to User CP up at the top left of this page. Scroll down to subscriptions then click on what you want and delete from there.

in the thread there is a box at the top THREAD TOOLS cluck there then unsubscribe

also you can click on USER CP top left & any thread with new posts will show there & you can cluck unsubscribe

When you go to post a message then is a box at the bottom THREAD SUBSCRIPTION where you can change the setting to no email notification

and it works. I never get any emails except the general ones from CC.

Thanks. I was able to unsubscribe to the threads I had posted in. Is there a way to set your settings so you don't have to unsubscribe every time you post in a new thread? Seems like there has to be an easier way than unsubscribing each time.

Yay! I just figured out via my User CP and Control Panel how to set my default to "do not subscribe " on threads I post in.
