CruisingPiper Posted November 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2009 We like to collect shells when we visit the Caribbean beaches. Not many, but a few really pretty ones that make for good reminders of our trip. Do shells wash up at the shore of Tabayna beach? We are taking a NCL excursion there. Thanks! watchdiva Posted November 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 7, 2009 Right above the tide line you can find some lovely little shells. It's not a shelling beach (like Sanibel in Florida) but what it lacks in quantity in makes up for in quality. A shell from West Bay Beach (which is where Tabyana is located) is sitting on my nightstand as a reminder of our time on the island.......
eggybear54 Posted November 8, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 8, 2009 Thanks WatchDiva! Funny you should mention Sanibel. . . . we struggled with the choice between doing this cruise and going to Sanibel. We will definitely have to get there soon! I appreciate your feedback.
