Wine on B2B

Recommended Posts

You are allowed 4 bottles. Whether or not they take 2 and hold them until your next cruise will vary. Sometimes they do sometimes they don't.

At Canaveral, boarding Freedom, I had all 4 bottles in my backpack. I was fully expecting to have 2 removed and returned to me at the end of the first cruise. I would have been perfectly fine with that.

All 4 bottles went thru the scanner and not a word was said. They never even asked me my cabin #.

I REALLY think it depends on the port, the time of year ( eg spring break), and the security personnel on duty that day.

bottom line- it's a crap shoot.

In NOLA, they took two of our four bottles and delivered them on the next leg of our B2B.......

We went in April, if that has any bearing on it.

YMMV

Thanks for the info. Interesting how each port handles this differently.
