Shopping/Beach

I will be cruising with my Sister and mother and our stop is Nassau. I would like to do some shopping and maybe find a restaurant on the beach? I want to stay away from the straw market. Anyone have a suggestions on where to go for the best shopping and perhaps a good place to grab a bite to eat on the beach. (If there is such a place)

We don't go to the Straw Market- too crowded and dusty.

We have shopped on Bay St. and always at the pier.

The British Colonial Hilton is near the pier and has a small beach.

Many go to Junkanoo Beach- we like the Hilton.
