Concept of Time on a Trans Atlantic

You change the clocks almost every night. Since you're westbound you'll gain an hour every day.... you'll have a lot of time to enjoy everything.

They will leave a card on your bed when the time does change. I love transatlantics .... They are a way to totally unwind, and you don't feel the rush rush rush to cram everything in.

Just did a TA from Copenhagen to Miami. The time difference from Europe to the east coast is 6 hours, spread over 14 days of travel. It is great to get an extra hour, one at a time. But it isn't every day. We left Copenhagen and stopped in Azores and then St Thomas. So it doesn't change much the first 5 days or the last 5 days, its the middle four that change almost nightly while you shoot across the pond. The staff jokes that we get an extra "free" 6 hours of cruising. Best thing is there is no jet lag on arrival.
